Are you feeling burned out by the constant demands of digital technology?

We're swapping our devices for a rural paradise, where we'll spend a weekend with no smartphones, no internet, and no worries.

Staying in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park,  we'll be guiding you through a full retreat programme of unwinding, unplugging, and reconnecting with life outside of the screen.

Super early bird available now for a limited time!

Thank you so much for inviting me over, it was literally one of the best weekends ever. Opened up my eyes about myself and my life, and I literally need to take care of myself way better. It's been pretty hard to get back to reality, I think it all came as a shock for me and it was good that it all happened now than too late. I would love to work with you and also attend again in the future!

Maria, 25, Fashion blogger

I was in total denial about how reliant I was on my phone. It opened my eyes to our society’s extreme dependence on mobile devices. Haven’t had such good conversations for a long time and I loved all the activities!

Aimee, 32, Specialist Orthodontist

What a great weekend! Digital media often prevents us from interacting with the people around us and by removing this external influence. Unplugged Weekend helped us to realise this. I found it very refreshing to meet such an interesting and enthusiastic group of people that I might not otherwise have crossed paths with.

Ed, 29, English teacher

Hello, I’m Lucy and I’ll be guiding you through your Unplugged Weekend.

We'll begin on Friday with a device surrender ceremony where you’ll hand over your gadgets- including smartphones, tablets and laptops. Don’t worry, they will be safely stored away and there’s an emergency contact number that friends and family can reach us on if needed.

I’ve been hosting Unplugged Weekend retreats since 2014 and in those five years I have developed the perfect formula for first time digital detoxers, like you. During the retreat you'll enjoy a full programme of activities which has been specially developed to help you let go of stress, unwind from our always-on culture and re-connect to your deeper self. I promise by Sunday, you won’t even want your phone back.

The Brecon Beacons is our favourite digital detox location. There’s something about being in the mountains, with all the fresh air and beautiful views that make taking a digital break even more rewarding.

We’ve chosen to host this year’s retreat at Llangattock Mountain Bunkhouse because it’s set right in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park with ancient woodlands, rare marshland and wildflower meadows right on the doorstep.

The dorm rooms are comfortable, clean and warm, and we have a communal dining and lounge area to relax in together. There is also a stunning white yurt on the grounds where daily yoga and group activities will take place.

The bunkhouse is within a three hour journey time from most of the UK. If you're coming by train, you'll need to head to Abergavenny station which directly connects with the north and is a short hop from Newport if you're coming from the south. From here it's just a short taxi ride to our beautiful venue. Parking is available for those who choose to drive.

You'll be served delicious vegetarian meals, made from scratch, on location, by our wonderful chef. All meals will be provided from a Friday evening buffet to Monday brunch, including afternoon treats. We eat together in the dining room and mealtimes are always a great opportunity to get to know each other. There will be a tea and juice selection available to keep you going throughout the day.

Everyone is welcome on an Unplugged Weekend. Whether you’re a smartphone addict, a digital detox pro, or you’d just like to give it a go, we would love to have you join us.

Our groups are always a friendly crowd of open minded people. Many come on their own and some choose to come with friends, family or partners too.
