ESCAPE TO KERALA
26th - 29th OCTOBER
A DIGITAL DETOX RETREAT IN SOUTH INDIA
Are you feeling burned out by the constant demands of digital technology?
We're swapping our devices for a tropical Indian paradise, where we'll spend three days with no smartphones, no internet, and no worries.
Living amongst a luscious forest on the banks of the river, where you'll be able to watch elephants bathing, we'll be guiding you through a full retreat programme of unwinding, unplugging, and reconnecting with life outside of the screen.
We'll be eating traditional Keralan meals, prepared to Ayurvedic tradition, and indulging in luxurious Ayurvedic treatments.

An Ayurvedic treatment
We begin the weekend by surrendering all devices- including smartphones, tablets and laptops.
(There’s an emergency contact number that friends and family can reach us on if needed.)
With all your gadgets safely stored away, you'll enjoy a full programme of activities to help you to let go of stress, unwind and re-connect. We provide a full schedule of analogue relaxation, as well as down time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
We will start the days with a morning yoga class and meditation, led by highly trained yoga teacher, and Indian resident, Monika Pawlowska. Over three days there will be a mix of morning, afternoon and evening workshops. Every session has been carefully chosen to help you let go of any unwanted tension and re-connect with yourself more deeply. We'll be doing things like art workshops, a sound bath, group games, spa treatments and watching a local dance performance. Full schedule TBC.
Elephant Pass Retreat is set on the banks of the river in beautiful Kerala, only 30 minutes away from Kochi international airport.
You'll need to book your own flights and make your own way from the airport. (Just a 30 minute taxi ride.)
You'll be staying in twin rooms (supplement available for a private room). Please get in touch for availability and let us know if you are coming with friends and would like to be put together. Rooms will be allocated on a single sex basis.
All meals will be provided from Friday lunchtime to Monday breakfast. We'll be eating delicious South Indian recipes including things like dosas and different kinds of putu. Meals will be vegetarian and made up of lots of fresh vegetables. There will also be salads, soups and juices.
Arrive from midday on Friday. You'll have some time to settle in before the device surrender ceremony, and official start of the digital detox, at around 6pm.
